A cat friendly Ikea-hack bookshelf
2015

Problem: Cat trees rarely mesh visually and physically with existing human furniture. In small living spaces, it can be difficult to find space for cats to climb and play without compromising on storage space. Solution: Stacked open shelving in a tatami inspired pattern affords climbing opportunities for felines while allowing books and other items to be stored in the 'closed' areas. Components consist solely of Ikea products with no major modification, such as cutting.
